How to make a vintage bracelet

Chances are that one of your favorite old necklace breaks, or you have a passion to collect old beads. But have you ever thought about turn these old bead into a bracelet that you can wear every day? It is not a difficult task. Follow the instruction of making a vintage bracelet, and you can bring new life to the old bead.
1. Measure the wrist of the person who will wear the vintage bracelet, and cut the jewelry elastic cord in the proper length.
2. Make good use of your imagination and design the pattern for the vintage bracelet. Make sure how many beads are needed for the cut jewelry elastic cord, and arrange the beads in the order you design.
3. Clip a binder-style paperclip to one end of the cord, so that the beads won’t slip off the cord when you thread them.
4. String the old beads on the cord. Choose a bead with a large hole and string it first, so when the bracelet is finished, the knot made at the end can be hidden inside the hole. String all the beads on, and make sure that the finished bracelet agrees to the wrist comfortably without pinching the skin or dangling from the wrist.
5. Remove the clip, and tie the ends to make a knot. Then add a drop of glue to the knot. Keep it in the air until the glue dries. By doing so, the two end can stay together more firmly.
6. Cut the extra cord, and tuck the knot inside the beginning bead.
