How to make baseball necklaces

1. Pick a baseball, and spot the red stitching running around the baseball in the continuous circle. Take a craft knife and cut it into the baseball at 1/4 inch to the left side of the red stitching. 2. To the right side of the stitching, repeat the step above. Score a parallel line around the baseball, keep it 1/4 inch to the right of the stitching, and cut along the line through the whole baseball.
3. Now you have a piece of leather in ring shape with red stitching in the middle, and you need to separate it from the whole baseball. Slip the knife under the strip of leather you have cut out, work carefully, and remove the stitching piece from the ball in one complete piece.
4. Prepare a basin of water and soak the leather strip in it for an hour. Then pull it out, rub the leather to make it soft. Cut the strip at the point where the stitching starts.
5. Soak the strip in water again. After taking it out, stretch it into a long, flat piece. Twist the strip from one side to form a spiral form, until it is twisted into the shape of a necklace. At each end of the spiral, add a clasp to connect the two sides. And the necklace is finished.
