How to clean a ruby ring

Ruby is one of the hard gemstones that can stand a simple washing at home. Give proper protection to the metal settings, and you can clean the ruby rings without much efforts. A simple clean can do its work if a ruby ring is only slightly grimed. First, soak the ring in the mixture of soft soap and warm water for 10 minutes.
