Cleaning sapphire jewelry
Make mild cleaning solution with warm water and dishwashing liquid. You can use your finger to test the temperature of water. It should be a comfortable temperature, not hot and never boiling. Then soak the sapphire jewelry in the solution for few minutes. Remove the jewelry from the cleaning solution and clean the stones with a soft cloth or toothbrush. Lastly, wash off the soapy water and pat it dry.
Storing sapphire jewelry
Arrange each piece of sapphire jewelry in a jewelry bag to avoid being scratched by other jewelry. Store your jewelry in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Avoid sudden temperature changes, which can crack the sapphire.
